Addison lost her fight with CDH today. At noon, she was disconnected from ECMO and put into my arms where she peacefully went to heaven. Before she passed, Jason and I got to hold her and tell her how much we love her.
We want to thank all the doctors (escpecially Dr. Keller and Dr. Roberts) and nurses (Christa, Anna, Sue , Stephanie) at UCSF for giving her every chance.
We are making arrangements to have Addison brought back home, so we can have a service for her. We will update once the arrangements are made.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know there's nothing I can say to make you feel better, trust me I know how you are feeling. Try not to ask yourself why it happen b/c it will just make you crazy. Its something we will never understand why it happened.

We were at church last night when we got the news. It breaks my heart to think about what you've gone through. Cynthia and I went to the prayer room and got on our knees to pray for all of you. And over the weekend some of the Sonrise ladies and MMI ladies were at the RUMC women's retreat and learned that even in the toughest times, we need to praise God. I am heartbroken to hear of Addison's passing.
She fought a long hard battle and I am amazed at her strength. She will be forever remembered. May god give you peace.

I am so overwhelmed with emotion right now, why are all of these babies leaving us, I just do not understand and probably never will. Addison is forever in our hearts and I will continue to pray for her and your family. If you need anything, we are here.
